I finished the new Donna Leon mystery, A Question of Belief: A Commissario Guido Brunetti Mystery, last night after a dinner of Osso Buco. One of my favorite aspects of this series of mysteries, besides wry observations of the human condition, is the characters' enjoyment of food both at home and in little cafes.
We are also reading:
- In the Steps of St. Paul by H. v. Morton and B.Feiler -- a clue to our next trip abroad;
- Every Other Monday: Twenty Years of Life, Lunch, Faith, and Friendship by John Kasich, who is now running for governor of Ohio; and
- Pen on Fire: A Busy Woman's Guide to Igniting the Writer Within by B. DeMarco-Barret -- to keep me motivated to write when I think I have no time.
